The Brief
In 2025, we partnered with Comfy Critters to create a Christmas keepsake. Their clients are families navigating the loss of a beloved pet, and the goal was to offer something thoughtful, personal and lasting.
Rather than a standard gift, this needed to feel considered. Something that acknowledged grief, honoured memory, and could become part of a yearly tradition.
The Concept
We adapted our 2025 Christmas ornament design into a custom memorial piece, tailored specifically for Comfy Critters and their clients.
Each ornament was designed to feel soft, minimal, avoiding anything overly decorative or commercial, and instead focusing on sentiment.
Key elements included:
- Clear acrylic base for a clean, timeless look
- Personalised pet name in a soft script
- “Forever Loved” engraving as the central message
- A delicate geometric border detail
- Satin ribbon in purple tones to align with Comfy Critters branding
- Custom Comfy Critters charm featuring pet iconography
Designed with Purpose
Every detail was chosen to support the meaning behind the piece.
The transparency of the acrylic allows the ornament to sit quietly within a space — not overpowering, but present. The engraving catches the light subtly, giving just enough visibility without feeling heavy.
The addition of the branded charm was a key part of this project. It ties the keepsake back to Comfy Critters and the care they provide, while still allowing the ornament to feel personal to each individual client.
