For this project, we created a custom acrylic light stand designed to capture a very specific moment — the proposal.
Using a photo as reference, we illustrated the scene and engraved it into clear acrylic, transforming it into a keepsake that feels both personal and timeless.
The Concept
The idea behind this piece was simple, turn a meaningful memory into something you can display every day.
Rather than using a standard photo frame, this design uses line illustration and light to highlight the moment in a more subtle, elevated way.
The Acrylic Piece
The final design features a custom-shaped clear acrylic panel, engraved with fine linework to capture the detail of the proposal scene.
Key elements include:
- Hand-illustrated scene, recreated from a real proposal photo
- Engraved linework, allowing the design to softly glow when lit
- Personalised names and date, centred within the design
- Arched acrylic shape, giving it a modern, finished look
The engraving style keeps everything minimal while still holding the emotion of the moment.
LED Light Base
The acrylic insert sits in a warm LED light base, which brings the engraving to life.
- Soft lighting highlights the etched lines
- Creates a subtle glow, especially in low-light settings
- Turns the piece into both a keepsake and a functional decor item
The light adds depth without overpowering the design.
The Result
