Interchangeable Ice Cream Flavour Board for a Mobile Gelato Cart
For this project, we worked with Kreamy Karts to create a custom acrylic flavour board designed specifically for their mobile gelato cart setup.
Kreamy Karts provides gelato cart hire across Sydney for birthdays, weddings, corporate events and activations, offering a wide range of unique, Asian-inspired flavours.
The brief was to create a signage solution that could adapt across different events while still maintaining a clean, elevated look.
The Concept
Unlike traditional printed menus, this board was designed to be fully interchangeable, allowing flavours to be updated depending on the event, season or service offering.
The focus was flexibility without compromising on presentation.
The Acrylic Flavour Board
The final piece is a freestanding acrylic sign featuring a soft arched shape, designed to sit neatly on top of the gelato cart.
Key features include:
- Layered acrylic header text reading “Todays Flavours” in a script style for a premium finish
- Neutral-toned acrylic base to suit a variety of event styles and setups
- White interchangeable flavour tabs, each individually produced for easy swapping
- Clean black text for readability, even in outdoor or low-light conditions
The board is designed to feel minimal and refined, allowing the product (the gelato) to remain the hero.
Interchangeable Flavour System
A key part of this project was creating a system that works operationally, not just visually.
- Each flavour is produced as an individual acrylic tab
- The client added magnetic backing, allowing quick and secure placement
- Flavours can be swapped in seconds depending on the event
With a menu that includes over 25 flavours — from matcha and black sesame to mango sorbet — this system gives Kreamy Karts the flexibility to tailor their offering without needing multiple signs.
